Ben Kellersman
TUCSON, Ariz. – In the two years Ben Kellersman has been a security officer, he has developed a reputation as a professional’s professional who is requested by name for specific assignments. That’s why Kellersman is the Officer of the Quarter for Blackstone Security Services’ Tucson Division 34.
Kellersman literally hit the ground running when he joined Blackstone. Division 34 District Manager Ron Skyrm described Kellersman as an “anytime, anywhere” type of security officer. This was one of the qualities that enabled Kellersman to be promoted to field supervisor in less than two years. “He could be placed at any post and could adapt to any situation that might arise,’ said Skyrm who added that during the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show Kellersman was hand-picked to work the main tent where the more expensive items were on display. “He was picked because of his professionalism and knowledge of his job,” Skyrm said.
A native of Powell, Wyo., Kellersman said he enjoys making clients happy and the people at Blackstone. “It’s a real family atmosphere,” he said.
Kellersman’s philosophy on security: “People have a right to feel their person and property are safe.”
As a field supervisor, Skyrm said Kellersman has shown a great desire to make Blackstone employees happy and anting to come to work. “”He was promoted because of his desire to make things right and his can-do attitude,” said Skyrm. “He has been an important asset to the supervisory staff.”
When Kellersman is not making clients happy, he enjoys all outdoor activities especially hunting and fishing.
